Florence Marie Jervis, age 88 of Indiana, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 31, 2020.

She was born in 1931 in Bolivar to Lawrence and Goldie Margaret Walbeck Clark.

Mrs. Jervis was a member of the Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Indiana, where she served in the nursery and as a Deacon.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Sherwin Williams Co. for 31 years before her retirement in 2012.

Florence was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed sewing, needlework and reading.

She is survived by two children - Jeffery F. Jervis and wife Cynthia, Garden City, KS; Loretta A. Jervis, Indiana; two grandchildren - Tiffany Jervis, Garden City KS; Benjamin Jervis and wife Lindsay, Wichita, KS; two great granddaughters - Elizabeth Sophia and Ava Corrine Jervis, both of Wichita, KS; and sister - Virginia Stewart and husband Richard, Dilltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Jervis in 2002, (with whom she shared the same birth month and day), and siblings – Sam, Harry, and Ken Clark and Phyllis (Crusan) Frye.

The family would like to thank the VNA Hospice nurses, aides and staff for their wonderful care and support.

Friends will be received at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, on Sunday, February 2, from 1 to 4 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, at 10 a.m.  Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
