Evelyn B. Stewart, age 100, formerly of Indiana, died on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Oak Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Greensburg.

She was born in 1915 in Bell Township, Clearfield County, to Samuel and Margaret Mae (Johnston) Hadden.

Evelyn was a member of the Indiana Church of Christ, Indiana.

She worked for many years as a waitress and cafeteria worker at the Hess's Restaurant and Bus Station, Indiana, and also in the cafeteria at Fisher Scientific.

Evelyn enjoyed embroidery, reading and walking.

She is survived by the following children: Shirley Frampton, Indiana; Carolyn McCullough and her significant other Thomas Patrick, Greensburg; George "Bill" Roland, Jr. and wife Donna, Lower Burrell; Georgene "Betty" Anderson and husband Robert, Port Orange, Fl. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband - George William Roland; and her second husband - William C. Stewart, and six brothers and six sisters.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 27, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, followed by a funeral service at 1 P.M. with Minister C.J. Moffett, and her cousin Reverend Richard Ginter, co-officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
