Evelyn S. Hanson's Obituary

Evelyn Signe (Lonnstrom) Hanson, age 97, passed away on May 15, 2015 at St Andrew's Village, Indiana. She was born in 1917 in Virginia, MN, to Alexander and Signe A. (Halgren) Lonnstrom. She was a resident of Reno, NV until 2001, when she moved to Indiana. Evelyn was a member of the Indiana Seventh Day Adventist Church, Indiana, and a member of P.E.O. She enjoyed canvas painting, flower gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children - Ronald J. Hanson and his wife Carmel T. of Mt Pleasant, SC; Joan M. Kvatek and her fiance Charles Murdick of Creekside; three grandsons and one granddaughter - Richard Hanson and Tracy Hanson, John and James Kvatek; six great grandchildren - Jacob, Conor, Liam, Declan, Meghan and Tessa and one great great grandchild, Oliver; one sister - Vesta Haugen, Spokane, WA; and one brother - Donald Lonnstrom and his wife Barbara. Sonoma, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Richard H. Hanson who died May 7, 1982; a granddaughter Lori Marie Rearick: two brothers - George and Frank Lonnstrom; two sisters - Ahlie Kotchevar and Ruth Horton. Services will be private and arrangements have been entrusted to the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
