Obituary

Emma Jean (Shaffer) Sullivan, 88, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born in 1924 to Earl and Nora (Bennett) Shaffer in Clymer. Emma Jean attended Cornerstone Worship Center in Indiana. She worked as an LPN and was the owner /operator of Sullivan's Rainbow Haven Nursing Home for many years. Formerly of Indiana, she moved to Dallas, Georgia in 2010. Emma Jean was a member of Degree of Honor and served many different offices including State President. She also was a member of the Business and Professional Woman's Club of Indiana. She loved to bowl, travel and spend time with her family. She is survived by a daughter Joann Mallory, and husband William, Dallas, GA; a son William Sullivan and wife Linda, Stow, OH; eight grandchildren, David Crumrine and wife Michelle, Loxahatchee, FL; Catherine Schneider and husband Dean, Dallas, GA; Lucy Livingston, Rochester Mills; John Livingston, Indiana; JoAnn Stiles, Indiana; David Sullivan and wife Suzanne, Maryland; Deborah Smith, Ohio; Marcia Birath and husband Peter, Ohio; 22 Great grandchildren and one Great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis J. Sullivan in 1999, a daughter Sally Shawley in 2009 and a brother Joseph Shaffer. Friends will be received Friday, from 2-4 and 6- 8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00AM with the Rev. Paul Price officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
