Obituary

Elwin Ray Morrow, 75, of Homer City, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at his home. Born in Aultman on Oct. 29, 1935, he was the son of Mildred Wetzel and Omer Morrow. Elwin was a system analyst at FMC Corp. in Homer City for 44 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Elwin resided in Homer City nearly all of his life with his wife, Dorothy. He had a passion for working on cars, fixing things around his home and the homes of his children, and was an avid sports fan. He spent his time helping others, enjoying the outdoors, and spending his days surrounded by his loving family and dog, Star. Elwin is survived by his wife, Dorothy Morrow; sister, Ramona I. Trout and husband Carl, of Indiana; six children: Tim R. Morrow and wife Bobbie, of Homer City; Karen L. Krejocic, of Homer City; David A. Morrow and friend LuAnn, of Indiana; Mark T. Morrow and wife Donna, of Penn Run; Danny R. Morrow and wife Mary Ann, of Phoenix; and Tina M. Morrow, of Penn Run; grandchildren: Craig Krejocic, Josh Morrow and fiancee Lindsay, Celeste Hardie, John Morrow, Kurt Krejocic, Chelsea Krejocic, Nathan Morrow, Danielle Morrow, Kristen Morrow; and great-grandchildren Michael and Kylee Krejocic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Mildred Morrow; siblings: Gale J. Morrow, Duane O. Morrow, Jean M. Staff, Shirley O. Moore; and son-in- law, Ronald S. Krejocic. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines. Interment will be made at the St. Bernard Cemetery in Indiana.
