Elvira J. Campisano, age 72, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born 1942 in Indiana, to Henry and Emelia Ghezzi Salva. Mrs. Campisano was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Elvira was a devoted and loving family-oriented person, a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired as a guidance counselor from Purchase Line High School in 2003. Elvira is survived by her husband of 49 years Thomas E. Campisano, Indiana; two sons and one daughter, Thomas J. and wife Brandi, Indiana; Michael H. and wife Melissa, Indiana; Angela M. Campisano and husband Jeff Montgomery, Indiana; three grandchildren, Vincent, Emelia, and Max Campisano. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Private inurnment will be made in the St. Bernard Mausoleum. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
