Edward D. Chesnick , Jr., age 55 , of Clarksburg , passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital , Pittsburgh .

He was born 1960 in Nowrytown, to Edward D. Sr., and Mary Virginia Hancock Chesnick.

Ed was a talented musician and could teach himself to play any instrument. He particularly enjoyed Bluegrass music. He also loved to fish and hunt.

Edward is survived by his wife Jonniellen Hine Chesnick, Clarksburg ; one step-son, Jason A. Matty and wife Antoinette , Indiana ; two grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Matty; a cousin Jeff Hancock and wife Janet, Clarion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his step-mother Lottie Pividori.

Funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana .
