Edna Larue
Sipos
October 27, 1943 – September 4, 2024
Edna LaRue (Helman) Sipos, 80, of Waterman, entered eternal glory, Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
Born in Chambersville on October 27, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ethel (Hinton) Helman Condor and Gordon Helman.
She went to school in both Marion Center and Indiana. She met her husband, Stephen at the Indiana County Fair and they were married June 16, 1962.
Edna was a loving wife and mother. She worked hard keeping a nice home for her family. She also worked outside the home at Dunkin Donuts and St. Andrews Village.
She attended the First Church of God in Indiana, where she volunteered as a greeter and a Junior church helper.
Edna enjoyed BINGO, word puzzles, playing cards with her family, and riding motorcycles in her younger years.
Left to cherish her memory are husband, Stephen Sipos; children, Kathleen (Dennis) Bruner, Stephen (Maria) Sipos, and Teresa Blair; grandchildren, Levi Bruner, Abby (Charlie) Harr, Tim (Kayla) Blair, Joseph (Jen) Sipos, Austin (fiancée, Shae Hatfield) Sipos, Dylan Sipos, Micah Lowman and Jonah Lowman; great-granchildren, Isabella Blair, Kolton Harr, Karson Harr, Bennett Harr, Bentley Harr, Dax Blair, Bentley Blair, Alex Long, and soon-to-be great-grandson, Camryn Harr. Also surviving are sisters, Connie Boyer, Donna (Glenn) Kunkle and Anna (Jeff) Mencer; along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and her grandpups, Chance, Rebel, Copper, Jasper, and Remy.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by brothers, LeRoy Helman, Arthur Helman, Wayne Helman, Albert Helman, and Ellsworth Helman; sisters, Linda McCurdy, Cheryl Helman, Diana Smith, and Sandra Haggerty; and her son, Arnold Patrick Sipos who we are sure met her at the pearly gates with arms wide open.
