Obituary for Edgar W. Wilderson Edgar W. "Eddie" Wilderson, age 84, of Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at .Scenery Hill Manor. He was born in 1930 in Weehawken, NJ to Edgar and Mary Frussnar Wilderson. Eddie was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, the VFW Post #1982, and a former member of St. Francis Church, Ridgefield Park, NJ, and the Knights of Columbus. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the US Army for two years and Army Reserve for six years. He was employed with S. Blickman Co. for 27 years, Fisher Scientific for 9 years, and Greensteel for 10 years, working primarily as a project manager. Eddie is survived by his wife Florence A. Pareti Wilderson, Indiana; two daughters - Marylou Hatfield, Ellicott City, MD; Linda Compton and husband William, Clarksburg; two granddaughters - Angela Compton Coleman and husband Nathan, Homer City; Stephanie Halicke and husband Justin, Latrobe; four great grandchildren - Phoebe Compton, twins - Carter and Chloe Coleman, and Olivia Grace Halicke. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law Melvin Hatfield, and a sister Agnes Keahon. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Thursday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Inurnment will be made in St. Bernard Cemetery.
