She was born in 1949 in Dixonville to Frank L. and Mary Uplinger Zombotti.

She was employed by Robertshaw Controls and as a certified nursed assistant at Communities of Indian Haven.

She was well known for her baking and enjoyed cooking and canning.

Diane is survived by one brother and two sisters - Robert Uplinger and wife Betty, Emporium; Shirley Jean Eckman, Apollo; Loretta "Peg" Pease, Ernest; and the following nieces and nephews - Bernard J. Eckman, Robert G. Pease, Kimberly D. Tygielski, Dale E. Uplinger, Gerald A. Uplinger, Pamela A. Boyer, Jaymie R. Zombotti, Richard L. Zombotti, Debra L. Glynn, Saundra D. Jackson, and Michael T. Zombotti; and great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dog Bayleigh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary J. Ewing in 2005, two sisters - Kathy Woomer and Donna Stewart, three brothers - Frank L. Zombotti, Jr., Ronald L. Zombotti, and an infant brother Sammy.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will begin at 5 P.M. with Pastor Todd Marino officiating. Private interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.

The family would like to thank the many people who cared for Diane in any way over the time of her illness. A special thanks to the staff of the Dialysis Clinic.
