Dorothy G. "Gubby" Knapko , age 90 , of Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at St. Andrew's Village.

She was born in 1925 in Marion Center, to James A. and Maude Peace Lipsie.

Dorothy was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church.

She was a homemaker and a special "Gubby" to all of her grandchildren and friends.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Rebecca Jones and husband Richard, Pittsburgh; Richard Knapko and wife Lynn, Indiana; Jo D'Andrea and husband David, Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Kristy Caywood and husband Michael; Brian Knapko and wife Brittany; Tim Jones and wife Katie; Amy Bieniek and husband Jared, Jon D'Andrea and wife Jessie; Becca Beck and husband Chris; six great grandchildren, Addison and Logan Caywood, Lucy and Maggie Jones, Rachel Bieniek and Samantha Knapko.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank J. Knapko in 1995, and the following siblings, James, Carl, Duncan, John, Robert "Peewee" Lipsie, Helen King, Mae Poole, and Agnes Clawson.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Dr. Richard L. Cassel officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery .
