Doris A. Stumpf, age 98 of Creekside, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana.

She was born in 1920 in Philadelphia to Earlston Kindsey and Arminta Bert Coulter Gardner. She was an active member of the Center Presbyterian Church, Creekside.

She was a food service worker at Creekside Washington Elementary School until her retirement in 1982. She was also known for her cooking outside of church. Sunday dinners, Christmas meals, Easter dinners were all part of her service to her family and others.

She is survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stumpf was preceded in death by her husband John Stumpf in 1979, by two daughters and one son - Barbara Bellish, Virginia Brawner, and John Stumpf.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, with the Rev. Kevin Stock officiating. Interment will be made in Oakland Cemetery
