Doris Jean Johns, 78, of Glen Campbell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Sun Valley Acres Personal Care Home, Glen Campbell. She was born in Windber, on December 20, 1945, to the late Morrie F, and Sylvia E. (Hill) Johns.

Doris Jean was a resident of Strongstown for over 50 years until moving to the Cherry Tree area in 1995. She was an avid vinyl record collector and enjoyed listening to many different types of music from many different eras.

In addition to her parents, Doris Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy F., Royal "Casey", Richard, and Harold Johns, as well as her sister Marie Tonski. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM until the time of the service at 8:00 PM in the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, 500 Ben Franklin Road South, Indiana, with the Reverend Ron Westover, officiating. Private burial will be in the McDowell Cemetery, Clymer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doris Jean to the Sun Valley Acres Personal Care Home, 108 Schrader Ave, Glen Campbell, PA 15742.
