Doris Jane (Marshall) Grove, 89, of Indiana, formerly of Sagamore, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Heritage Grove Senior Living, Indiana.

Born in Indiana on November 8, 1934, to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Lewis) Marshall, Doris worked for Season-All Industries until the plant's closure and then for the Indiana Gazette until her retirement.

Surviving Doris are her two daughters and four sons, Terri (Steve) Grove-Pyle, of Harleysville, PA, Scott (JoAnn) Grove of Rock Springs, WY, Jeff (Pam) Grove of Rural Valley, PA, Sam Grove of Reston, VA, Bruce (Trina) Grove of San Diego, CA, and Bambi Dee Grove of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Steve and Lara (Jason Craparo) Pyle, Adam (Megan), Alicia (Jonas Hyita), Jeremy (Ashley), Chelsea (Chad Buckwalter), Alex, Jake, and Lily Grove; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Ronald (Bernie) Marshall of Indiana; brother-in-law Gary Otto of Homer City; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Williams and Shirley Otto, and companion Nicholas Buffone Jr.

Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10 AM until the time of service at Noon in the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, 500 Ben Franklin Road South, Indiana, with Pastor Marv Nelson officiating.
