Donna M. Houck's Obituary

Donna M. Houck, age 85, of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born in 1930 in Derry, to William and Marie Jackson Houck. Donna was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, Indiana. She was employed as a housekeeper for St. Bernard Church, Indiana, and at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Derry. She was the last surviving live-in housekeeper in Western PA for the Diocese of Greensburg. Donna is survived by her niece Bobbi Wager and husband Rob, Boerne, TX; her godson Robert Wager, Boerne, TX; a sister Jean Ross and husband Paul, Hadley, MA; and the following nieces and nephews, Donna Ross and husband Peter Straley, Amherst, MA; Deborah Whitford and husband Daniel, South Hadley, MA; Daniel Ross and wife Diane, Allentown; William Houck and wife Barb, Smithton, IL; Mary Herrington and husband Max, Atlanta, GA; Barbara Bala and husband Jerry, Akron, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert F. Houck and wife Julia A. Houck. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a funeral mass on Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be made in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
