Obituary

Donald E. Dye, age 76, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his home. He was born in 1937 in Morganfield, KY to LeRoy and Virgie Ringstaff Dye. Don was a member of the L.O.O.M., Indiana. He was a peacetime veteran, having served in US Army in France. He was employed as a superintendent for SW Jack for 37 years before his retirement. Don is survived by his wife of 53 years, Arzella Peck Dye, Indiana; by one daughter Diane Klug, Blairsville; five grandchildren, Danielle Klug, Joshua Klug, Morgan Blystone, Courtney Blystone, and Randy Blystone; three brothers, Lonnie Dye and wife Linda, AL; Jimmy Ray Dye and wife Arley, Gary, IN; Bobby Joe Dye, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, by two daughters and one son, Brenda Kay Dye Blystone, Donna Sue Dye, and Donald E. Jr., and by one sister Virginia Simmons. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M. at Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 4 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Price officiating. Private interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
