Obituary

Denice D. Conner, age 53, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at her home. She was born 1959 in Indiana, to Thomas and Diana Wilkinson Conner. Denice was an active member of The Salvation Army Church, Indiana. She was employed by The Salvation Army as a Case Worker and Ark of Learning Director for the past 23 years. She was also employed by HandR Block as a tax preparer for the past 25 years. Denice is survived by her step-father Edward Layton, Indiana, three sisters and two brothers, Tammie Conner, Oklahoma City, OK; Thomas Conner and wife Lois, Punxsutawney; Ruthann Foster and husband Greg, Indiana; Edward Layton, Jr. and wife Tamie, Indiana; Lissa Lemley Yonosik and husband Joseph, Homer City; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, and by one sister Cheryl Ringer. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service for Denice on Monday April 29, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, with Capt. John Brand officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army Kids Programs, 635 Water St., Indiana, PA 15701.
