Delone E. Adams' Obituary

Delone E. Adams, 74, of Home, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born in 1941 to C. Lee. and Dorothy M. (Rearick) Adams in Plum Creek Township. Delone attended St. Bernard Catholic Church, Indiana and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Yatesboro; and was a member of the Indiana American Legion, a life member of the Sagamore VFW and a life member of the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Citizens Ambulance and Barker Transport. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. Delone was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He is survived by a son - Howard Adams, Emmitsburg, MD; a daughter - Patricia Rouser and Husband Dave, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren - Logan Johnson and husband Seth, Springfield, OH; Jocelyn Adams, Hagerstown, MD; Tess Evans, Raleigh, NC; Codee McCuiston, Raleigh, NC; two great grandchildren - Christian Johnson and Harper McCuiston, his mother, two brothers and a sister - James B. Adams and wife Martha, Home; Lyle D. Adams and wife Patricia, Hutchinson, MN; Louella J. Ondo and husband Bill, Home; loving friend Terri Brilhart, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews and the many friends who have touched his life. He was preceded in death by his father, his wife - Isolde H. Adams in 2009, a son - Bryan Adams, a twin brother - Dwight Adams, a sister - Dorothy Adams and special aunts - Elsie Henry, Anna Mae Boyer and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church on Friday at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place in the Marion Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Citizens Ambulance Service, 805 Hospital Road, Indiana, PA 15701 or the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department, 701 Manor Street, Marion Center, PA 15759.
