Dale G. Coleman's Obituary

Dale G. Coleman, age 86 of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. He was born in 1928 in West Lebanon to Glenn H. and Ruth Dunmire Coleman. Dale was a member of Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church, and the American Legion Post #141. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the US Army. Dale was employed by Davis Trucking. He is survived by two sons and a daughter - David D. Coleman and wife Maribeth, Indiana; Terry M. Coleman and wife Malisa, Charlotte, NC; Karen L. McFeaters, Marion Center; six grandchildren - George and wife Melissa McFeaters, Nicktown; Jessica McFeaters, Marion Center; Lauren and Megan Coleman, Atlanta, GA; Kirsten Coleman, Indiana; Landyn Coleman, Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren; one sister - Doris Patterson and husband McKee, Cabot; and his brother-in-law - Richard McCormick, Ligonier. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia Coleman in 2014, his son Patrick A. Coleman in 1978, a son-in-law Richard C. McFeaters in 1995, and his sister Mabel McCormick in 2014. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Joseph Tagliaferre officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church, 182 S. Ridge Rd., Shelocta, PA 15774.
