Coletta Lee (Griffith) Davis, age 73 of Plumville, died May 1, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in 1944 in Home, PA to Wendell J. and Katherine Jane Springer Griffith.

Coletta was a graduate of Shadyside School of Nursing and IUP where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree as a registered nurse.

She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Indiana, and enjoyed her monthly card club group. She was also Judge of Elections for Plumville Borough for the past 40 years.

She was employed at Mountain View Manor Nursing Home, Hillsdale, and at the Visiting Nurses Association for many years before her retirement. She loved her nursing career and all of the patients she cared for over the years.

Surviving are three children - Kevin (Bonnie) Davis of Indiana, Kimberly (John) Peles of Penn Township, and Kurtis (Sharon) Davis of Jefferson Hills; five grandchildren - Tyler Davis of Pittsburgh, Katie Davis of Indiana, Alyssa (Zach) Fossett of Monaca, and Joshua and Mikayla Peles of Penn Township; one brother and one sister, Rodney Griffith, Canandaigua, NY; Celeste Irwin, Marion Center; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends who were like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John L. Davis on December 26, 2017, and her brother David W. Griffith in 1993 .

Friends will be received on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Friends will also be received on Tuesday May 8, 2018, from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. Interment will be made in the Smicksburg Cemetery.
