Obituary

Charles Joseph Muller, age 79, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Allegeny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in 1933 in Indiana, to Paul V. and Teresa V. Kelly Muller. Mr. Muller was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, the FOE for 50 years having served as past president and was a long-time member of their Bowling Team, and was currently serving as the Assistant Director of District Four. He was also a member of the LOOM, the American Legion, a life member of the VFW, and the IBEW. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the US Army. He was employed by Penelec as a lineman for 37 years. Charles is survived by his companion Linda Sawyer, Indiana; two daughters and two sons, Beth Ann Huseman and husband Jesse, Tallahassee, FL; Edward P. Muller, Margate, FL; Sharon K. Varner and husband Douglas, Indiana; Ronald J. Muller and wife Shannon, Gainesville, FL; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Paul Muller and wife Janie, Indiana; Brenda Knup and husband Don, Ligonier; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his daughter Kathryn Leysock in 2010. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, Indiana, with the Rev. Fr. William Kiel the celebrant. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Church, 200 Clairvaux Dr., Indiana, PA 15701, or to St. Bernard Learning Center, 300 Clairvaux Dr., Indiana, PA 15701.
