Charles “Chuck” Leroy Stewart, 90, of Indiana, PA, passed away at his home on Monday, May 25, 2026. Chuck was born in Beaver Falls on March 29, 1936, to the late Gilbert M. and Ethel B. Stewart.

A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, he received a Bachelor’s as well as Master’s Degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Initially employed as a Civic’s teacher by the Indiana Area School District, Chuck then spent the greatest portion of his career as a junior high school guidance counselor until his retirement.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Carole Woodall Stewart; his sons Brett (Diane) Stewart of Indiana, PA and Brian S. (Tanis) Stewart of Colorado; grandchildren, Lindsey, Olivia, and Ryan (Olivia Stossel) Stewart, Nicholas (Hayley) Robson, and Ryan and Sofia Batsel; and great-grandchildren, Rowan James and Asher Ryan Robson.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM in Calvary Presbyterian Church, 695 School Street, Indiana, PA 15701. The Rev. Dr. Richard Cassel will officiate. Private family burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
