Charles W. Jewart, age 88 of Creekside, died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana.

He was born in 1931 in Washington Twp. to Glenn and Sara Harman Jewart.

Chuck was a member of the Plumcreek Church of the Brethren and the Keystone Sports Club.

He was employed as an equipment operator for PennDOT until his retirement.

Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife - Louise (Crownover) Jewart; two sons - Kenneth C. Jewart and companion Cookie Wisor, Bluff City, TN; James E. Jewart and wife Sally, Creekside; six grandchildren - Thomas Livingston and wife Becky; Kevin Jewart and wife Kourtney; Walter Jewart and fiance' Nikki Stokley; Wayne Jewart and wife Tonya; Benjamin Jewart; Andrew Jewart and wife Brittany; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son Thomas C. Jewart.

Visitation and a funeral service will be private.  Interment will be made in the Harmony Grove Cemetery, Five Points. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana has been entrusted with arrangements.
