Charles Joseph Hogan , age 96 , of Indiana , died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home.

He was born in 1920 to John and Catherine Mitchell Hogan.

Mr. Hogan was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, VFW Post #1989, the BPOElks, and Indiana Youth Hockey.

A veteran of WW II, he served in the US Marine Corps in the Marshall Islands Campaign.

He was co-owner and operator of Penn Parts Co., (auto parts supply) in Indiana , Blairsville, and Punxsutawney .

Charles is survived by two sons and one daughter, Donald Hogan and wife Claire, Indiana; James Hogan, Indiana; Nancy Perrine and husband Stanley, West Windsor, NJ; 11 grandchildren, Anne Mills and husband Mark, Gibsonis; Emily Bowser and husband Jason, Mars; Stephen Hogan and wife Jenna, Pittsburgh Luke Hogan and wife Emilee, Louisville, KY; Catherine Noonan and husband Willow, San Fransico, CA; Thomas Hogan, San Diego, CA; Adam Hogan, Glendale, CA; Michael Hogan, Austin, TX; Kaitlin Perrine, West Windsor, NJ; Bennett Perrine, West Windsor, NJ; 14 great-grandchildren; and one nephew and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Hileman Hogan in 2010, a grandson Charlie Hogan, and a sister Betty Roman.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate a funeral mass on Saturday at 1 P.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R. C. Church. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery . The VFW Post #1989 will provide military honor's at graveside. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , has been entrusted with arrangements.
