Cecilia Regina Yeckley, 84, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024. Born in Patton, Cambria County, on February 15, 1940, to the late Theresa and Michael Psioda, she was married to the late Vincent Yeckley on October 7, 1961.

After graduating from Altoona School of Nursing, Cecilia went on to work as a Registered Nurse at Indiana Regional Medical Center for many years.

Cecilia was known for her passion to help others. Her family will remember her as the type of person who valued hard work, one who was loving but fair. She loved dalmatians, traveling, and playing solitaire.

Cecelia is survived by her children, Michael Joseph Yeckley, Pamela (Andy) Bishop, Everett (Gilda) Yeckley, and Alen Yeckley; her grandchildren Lisa (Randall) Smith, Michael Jacob Yeckley, Christy (Brock) Brewer, Gretchen Yeckley, Heidi Bishop, Jacob (Cassidy) Kuklis; and her many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband Vincent in 2019, and a granddaughter Emily Bishop.

Cecilia's family wishes to send a special thanks to the staff of Addison at Morehead Place for the love and care she received during her stay.

A private service was held for the family and was entrusted to the care of the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
