Carole E. Bell , age 80 , of Indiana , passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her home.

She was born in 1935 in Northern Cambria, to William T. and Sarah C. Baer Lydick.

She was a graduate of the Mercer Joint Consolidated High School in 1953. She was employed by Fisher Scientific in Indiana for 20 years.

Following her retirement, she remained active in the community as a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Indiana Senior Center . In 2015, she was honored with the title of Senior Corps - RSVP volunteer of the month. She was a regular blood and platelet donor in an effort to better the lives of others.

She was a wonderful mother who was greatly loved and appreciated by all of her children.

Carole is survived by four sons and one daughter, triplets - Frederick C. Bell, Oley, PA; Matthew R. Bell, Lexington, SC; Arthur T. Bell and wife Betty Jo, Loveland, CO; Mary F. Georgiana and husband Anthony, Carmel, NY; Paul A. Bell, Soldotna, AK; two granddaughters, Breanne Georgiana, Ashley Giusti; and one great grandson Dylan Roach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her grandson Dustin Georgiana.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with her son, Pastor Frederick Bell officiating. Interment will be made in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park , Irwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aging Services, Inc., (Homer City location), 1005 Oak St ., Indiana , PA 15701.
