Carlyle R. Fleming , age 91, of Indiana , died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Andrew's Village.

He was born in 1925 in Blairsville to E. Knox and Minnie Rupert Fleming.

Mr. Fleming was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church . He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers, F & AM Summit Masonic Lodge #312, the Altoona Consistory, and the Jaffa Shrine.

A veteran of WW II he served in the US Navy.

Carlyle was employed as an electronic switch technician for Bell Telephone for 43 years before retirement in 1992.

He enjoyed gardening.

Carlyle was the last surviving member of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jane Fleming in 2010, his infant twins in 1952, a sister Mildred F. Keller, and two brothers Edward J. and Paul W. Fleming.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Dennis Marshall officiating. Private interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery .
