Brenda J. Dilts, age 57, of Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in 1958 in Indiana to Clair and Leona Blystone Airgood.
Brenda was an active member of the First Church of God, Indiana, and the Special Education PTA of Dubois. As a volunteer, she worked for a variety of projects around the community.
She was active with family support services of Children and Youth Services in Indiana. Additionally she was involved with CPASDA IU#6 in Clearfield and Dubois as a parent advocate. She was also a Volunteer Firefighter with the Marion Center VFD.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, crocheting, ceramics, and reading.
Brenda is survived by her husband William C. Dilts, Indiana; three daughters and one son - Heather Ferguson and financee Bernard Graff, Jr., Elderton; Heidi Duncan, Homer City; Holly Bash and husband Jeremy, Mentcle; Larry Price and wife Amber, Strongstown; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and the following siblings - Paul Blystone and wife Jessica, Creekside; David Blystone and wife Ellen, Marion Center; Rick Blystone and companion Bonnie, Clymer; Ed Blystone and wife Joann, Dixonville; Rodger Blystone and wife Debbie, Marion Center; Robin Blystone and companion Gary Spaid, Rochester Mills; Tammy Kephart and husband Kevin, Rossiter; Terry Shields, Rossiter; three half-brothers - Roger Marsh, Commodore; Ray Marsh, Saltsburg; George Harmon, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her furry friend Dixie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son William C. Dilts, Jr.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Charles Harvey. Interment will be made in the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery.
