Bettye Mae Haney , age 88 , of Indiana, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Hillsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Bettye was born in 1927 to William and Ruby January Vetter in Fresno, California. A war bride, she married Blaine L. Haney on January 10, 1948 in Clovis, California. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A long-time volunteer at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, she was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and travel.

Bettye is survived by her husband of 68 years, Blaine, of Indiana; her five children, Jacqueline Gramann and husband James, College Station, TX; Janell Copher and husband Daniel, Front Royal, VA; James Haney and wife Jill, Cambria, CA; Jodina Lee and husband Timothy, Middletown, DE; Jefferson Haney, Yuba City, CA; seven grandchildren, Julianne (Gramann) O'Neal and husband Stephen; Jonathan Gramann; Jennifer (Lee) Sims and husband Devin; Timothy Lee; Kevin Haney; Andrew Haney; Jessica Copher; and two great grandchildren, Cody O'Neal; Laura O'Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received on Friday from 12 noon to 2 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be made in Clovis, CA.
