Obituary

Betty Ann Boone Wallwork, 81, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1932 to W. Wesley and Zella (Greenly) Boone in Bloomsburg, PA. Betty Ann attended Sovereign Grace Church, Indiana. She was a graduate of Hill Side New Jersey High School. She was a consummate homemaker and gourmet cook who hosted all family dinners and gatherings for her ever growing family. Betty Ann was a lifetime collector of antiques and an avid gardener. In earlier years, she enjoyed singing in the church choir and the Johnstown Symphony Chorus She was a member and past president of Shaver Spring Chapter of Questers. She and her husband met in 1950 in Bethlehem, PA while she was attending Moravian College for Women. They were then married on June 28, 1952 at the Franklin Methodist Church in Newark, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gealy W. Wallwork, Indiana; three children, Andrew C. Wallwork and wife Patty, Indiana; Jayne W. Holuta and husband Joseph, Indiana; Todd W. Wallwork, Evansville, IN; 11 grandchildren, Andrea Reeger, Erin Wallwork, Jocelyn Hartnett, Megan Wallwork, CPT Matthew Holuta, Jonathan Holuta, Rachel Dance, Emily Holuta, Britta Pate, Alexander Wallwork and James Wallwork. 9 great grandchildren, Teagan Reeger, Cameron Reeger, Evangeline Hartnett, Adrienne Holuta, Bethany Holuta, Ethan Holuta, Londyn Dance, Emmylou Pate and Zella Pate. A brother, James W. Boone, Lovat, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Weston Wallwork, and a sister Virginia Molden. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Visitation will also be held on Saturday at the Sovereign Grace Church from 10:00 AM until time of service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery where her eight grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Sovereign Grace Church of Indiana at 921 Hospital Road in lieu of flowers.
