Betty L. Hutchinson, age 94, of Indiana died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home.

She was born in 1924 in Indiana to Ellsworth and Bertha Palmer Starry.

Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Homer City, and the Sweet Adelines for 39 years.

Betty was employed as a housekeeper for Rogers Jewelry for many years.

She enjoyed singing, crocheting and baking.

Surviving is one daughter, Barbara Fink and husband Larry, Indiana; five grandchildren, Julie Shaffer, Raymond Shaffer, William Shaffer and wife Debbie, Jalon Faherty and husband Jonathan, and Tammy Shank; and 14 great grandchildren . She is also survived by one brother Doyle Starry, Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, by her daughter Judith Ann Conrad, and by the following siblings, Waneta Bell, William "Ted" Starry, Paul "Hootch" Starry, Robert Starry, and an infant brother David Starry.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 6 P.M. with the Rev. Gary Alberding officiating. Private interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
