Bernatha 'Red' Harsh's Obituary

Bernatha Harsh, age 102, of Indiana, formerly of Lucernemines, died on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Communities of Indian Haven. She was born in 1912 in Coral to Jacob and Catherine Clawson Miller. Mrs. Harsh was a former member of the Blacklick Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and had resided in Lucernemines since 1969 until she moved for health reasons. She is survived by four sons - Theodore, Keyers, WV; Jack, Blairsville; James, Grafton, OH; Richard, Indiana; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Bernatha was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband - Harold "Abe" Harsh in 1983, by five daughters - Catherine Chapla, Viola Staniscia, Violet Harsh, Nellie Busani, infant Leona Harsh; one son - Harold; three brothers - Jonas, Valentine, and Denver Miller, one sister - Sally Spogi. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
