Obituary

Arnold P. Sipos, age 46, of Homer City, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born in 1967 in Indiana to Stephen A. and Edna L. Helman Sipos. Arnie was a member of the Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City. He was a member of the Life Steps, Inc. group and resided in Homer City for the past 19 years. He was a 1988 graduate of Arin IU. He is survived by his parents of Waterman, three siblings, Kathleen Bruner and husband Dennis, Lucernemines; Stephen R. Sipos and wife Heather, Indiana; Teresa Blair, Waterman; one niece and five nephews, Levi Bruner, Abigail Blair, Joseph Sipos, Timothy Blair, Austin Sipos, and Dylan Sipos; his special uncle Daniel Sipos and wife Rose, Blairsville; and other numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Rosemary Sipos, by his maternal grandparents, Gordan and Ethel Helman Condor, and by a special aunt Linda McCurdy. Arnie will be remembered by his family and friends forever. His wonderful smile and laugh, his twinkle in his eye and how he loved us just as much as we loved him. We are so grateful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Matthew Lantz officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the care that Arnie received over the years from Life Steps, Inc.
