Anna B. Lesneskie's Obituary

Anna B. Lesneskie, age 94, of West Lebanon, formerly of Clune, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Allegheny General Hospital. She was born in 1916 in Luzernemines, to Andrew J. and Barbara Dora Kapu Bodnar. She was employed at Federal Laboratories for 26 years until her retirement in 1978. Anna was involved in politics for many years. She was a member of the Women's Society at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, and participated in various church dinner preparations. She was also a volunteer with McIntyre Senior Citizens, Coal Run Fire Dept., and supported the March of Dimes collections. She enjoyed bowling, puzzles, crocheting, professional golf, and West Lebanon Baseball games. Anna is survived by four daughters, Margaret Bertolino and husband Michael, with whom she lived for the past 8 years, West Lebanon; Darlene Morganti and husband Philip, Chardon, OH; Mary Boyko and husband Paul, Elyria, OH; Barbara Bogdanski and husband Albert, Richfield, OH; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Joseph Lesneskie, Jr. in 1962, by three brothers and two sisters, Joseph, Andrew Jr., and Steve Bodnar, Mary Manfre, and Helen Nabinger. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
