Obituary

Anna M. Fabin, age 92, of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1921 in Center Twp., to Joseph M. and Mary Sciera Fabin. Ms. Fabin was an active member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. She was employed first Indiana State Teachers College, and during WW II was employed Fro Briggs Aircraft as Rosie the Riveter in Detroit, MI. Following the war she was employed by Park Davis Pharmaceuticals for 36 years until her retirement. Anna was active in her church and many volunteer organizations. Additionally she loved to travel extensively in Europe and Asia. Anna is survived by two sisters and one brother, Helen Romanik, Detroit, MI; Rose Frey and husband Gene, Seattle, WA; Edward Fabin and wife Thelma, Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Mary Ann and Roberta. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by four brothers, Frank, Robert, John, and Walter Fabin. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a funeral mass on Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Shepherd, PO Box 99, Kent, PA 15732.
