Andrew J. Marsinko, age 82 of Indiana , died Monday, September 26, 2016 at St. Andrew's Village.

He was born in 1933 in Nanty Glo to John and Kathryn Nelesnic Marsinko.

Andrew was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, American Legion, BPOElks, and a volunteer fireman with the Indiana Volunteer Fire Co.

A veteran of the Korean War he served in the US Army.

He was employed PA State Employment Office as a veterans counselor for over 30 years.

Andrew was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, pool, and cards.

He is survived by his wife Dolores A. Dongilli Marsinko, Indiana; one son and one daughter, Len Marsinko, Indiana; Beth Hirtz and husband Robert, Uniontown; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hirtz and wife Molly, Bethel Park; Samuel Hirtz and wife Tasha, Bruceton Mills, WV; Alexandra Bittner and husband Travis, West Newton; six great grandchildren, Hailey, Mirey, Jacey, Braiden, Landen, and Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Michael Marsinko.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R. C. Church. Entombment will be made in the St. Bernard Mausoleum.
