Andree (Gressley) Staruch, age 94, of Homer City, (Brush Valley Twp), passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Communities at Indian Haven.

She was born in 1924 in Brush Valley to Clayton and Laura M. (Smith) Gressley where she resided her entire life.

Andree was a beautician for 45 years. She enjoyed scheduling and hosting bus tours and traveled all over the United States, Canada, and Nova Scotia. She also enjoyed spending time with family, quilting, pottery, and writing a book of the history of Brush Valley.

She is survived by three grandsons - Terrance Staruch and wife Terri Lynn; Sean Staruch; and George Robert Staruch; and four great grandchildren - Aundrea, Tiara, Taylor, and Trevor Staruch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George A. Staruch in 2013, son George, Jr., and her brothers John Smith Gressley and Burrell Gressley.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 A.M. with the Rev. Thomas Spiker officiating. Interment will be private.
