Obituary

Alice Mary O'Dell, age 58 of Indiana died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her home. She was born in 1954 in Punxsutawney to Mark and Bertha Froese Anthony. Alice attended Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of the Indiana Arts Assoc. As a Master Gardner she enjoyed her membership in the Indiana Garden Club. She was employed by First Commonwealth Bank for 18 years in the data processing department and finished her career as a Vice President. She then became owner/operator of "A Gardner's Touch", a landscape architectural company which created landscape design and maintenance from 2003 to 2007. She was a 1972 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School, and a 2002 graduate of Phipps Conservatory Landscape Design. She enjoyed gardening, painting, sewing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Joseph E. O'Dell, Indiana; three daughters and one son, Tawni O'Dell, State College; Trina Plazio and husband Charles, Parkwood; Amanda McAnulty and husband Dan, Indiana; Ryan O'Dell, Indiana; six grandchildren, Tirzah, Conner, Harrison, Sophia, Dylan, and Daniel; and by the following siblings; Clifford Anthony and wife Peggy, Marchand; Leroy Anthony and wife Betty, Punxsutawney; John Anthony and wife Ruth, Plumville; Robert Anthony and wife Janet, Punxsutawney; Joan Diem and husband David, Rochester Mills; Wayne Anthony and wife Judy, Smicksburg; Kathy Titus and husband William, Clarington; Charles Anthony, Orange Park, FL; Gary Anthony, Covode. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at the Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana, with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Private interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to the Indiana County VNA/Hospice
