Alice Mae Hill, 81 of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Burlington, NC, on January 6, 1942, to the late Luther Earl and Alice Mae (Finley) Lashley.

Alice worked as a licensed practical nurse for Indiana Regional Medical Center for 23 years, retiring in 2005. A member of the Red Hat Society and the Indiana Social Center, she enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, traveling the world, and spending time with her family.

Surviving Alice are her children, sons Jeffrey (Susan) Hill of Blairsville and John Hill of Homer Cit and daughters Jacqueline Louise (Chuck) Debick Steck of Export, Donna (Randy Morgan) Caramellino, of Hughesville, and Barbara (Ronald) Wells of Creekside; grandchildren Rhonda, Tina, Charlie, Jeffrey, Carrie, Mathew, Stephanie, Stephen, David, Nicole, Steven, Katrina, Cory, Sarah, and Michael; numerous great grandchildren; brothers John Lashley of Ebensburg, and Harry (Sue) Lashley of Korea; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Henry Hill, Sr., a son Thomas "Bud" Hill, Jr., brothers Luther and Roy Lashley, and sisters-in-law Barbara and Janet Lashley as well as many in-laws.

Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 4-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11 AM with Pastor Micah McMillen officiating. Burial will follow in Crooked Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Chambersville.
