Agnes C. George's Obituary

Obituary for Agnes C. George Agnes C. George, 90, of Marion Center, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born in 1919 to William W. and Amelia C. (Anderson) Schlemmer in Aultman. Agnes was a member of the Marion Center Presbyterian Church. She had worked for R and P Coal and also the Syntron Co.; then after raising her children, she worked in retail, for Westons and Bon-Ton. Agnes enjoyed puzzle books and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Henry H. George VI and wife Mary Jane, Marion Center; Carol Ann Kauffman and husband Robert, Dillsburg; William W. George and wife Stephanie, Marion Center; and Debra J. Askew and husband Darrell, Marion Center; eight Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren, and a sister Edna Mae Craft. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry H. George V in 1990, four brothers Leonard, Carl, E. James and Thomas Schlemmer. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM with Mr. Lawrence Barr officiating. Interment will take place in the Marion Center Cemetery.
